Silhouette d'Amour is a cosplayer and DJ from Melbourne with a flair for bringing polygons to life. Her inspirations are nostalgia, gaming, music and animation. She entertains audiences with enthusiasm and bad puns. You can expect all that and d'A-MORE at Animaga.
Graduating from SAE Creative Institute with a Bachelors of Audio Production, Jenet was soon interviewed to become an administrator for a K-pop fan page in 2013 and left the interview becoming a radio host and manager.
As Jenet expresses her love for Asian music and culture, she became a co-host, presenter, post production engineer and a master of ceremonies (MC).
Peter is an up-and-coming Australian actor who is quickly making a name for himself. He debuted on TVs around the world for his role in Ronny Chieng: International Student. But Peter is no stranger to the crowds either, having performed at the 2017 Edinburgh Fringe Festival to hundreds of people. If he isn’t entertaining people in person, he’s probably doing it online through his YouTube channel ‘peternoic’ to thousands of people. In his spare time, Peter enjoys gaming and watching anime, which in his opinion, are two of the best things in the world.
Jay John founded Asian Pop Radio in 2011 after seeing that Asian pop music was underrepresented in mainstream radio. He lead a team of dedicated volunteers to produce a weekly one hour program in Melbourne, which later went national on the community radio network, to now being an online platform with a 24/7 radio stream, website & podcast service. The team have interviewed a large range of independent musicians of diverse Asian backgrounds through to popular groups including BAP, BTS, 4Minute and CNBlue.
Nothing beats planning ahead! Grab your tickets now so you don't miss your chance to be a part of the fun of this years Animaga Expo. Record crowds are expected and the guests who have been announced have got people beside themselves. You don't want to be the one not going to Animaga!
