Alternative-rock band, Cadence have dropped a track titled, ‘Rumination’ and in its first week of release its getting heads turning both at Asian Pop Radio and across the region.
’Rumination' in psychology refers to thoughts and attention being focused on the causes and consequences of problems rather than their solutions. The song explores one's dealing with that negative thought cycle. The genesis of the song came from frontman Seth Chiam's conversations with a close friend going through trying times. He explains, "Life can hit you hard, and sometimes you stay there and wallow in the circumstance till you realise it's unhealthy. Breaking out of it can be hard. This song's about that process."
