Chart topping Singapore pop artist Falling Feathers is back with a new collaboration with Annie from South Korean electronic pop duo, Love X Stereo. Titled “Dancing Alone,” the new single marks the first ever pop ballad that the 22-year-old is releasing as part of his forthcoming EP, Pipe Dreams.
“Dancing Alone” is available on all digital platforms from today, with an accompanying music video that will be premiering exclusively on MTV Asia both on-air and online for 48 hours on February 28, 2018.
“Dancing Alone is a song that is really close to my heart. It talks about how we can feel so alone sometimes even though we may be surrounded by people we know,” explains Falling Feathers. “There are hurdles in life that we have to overcome ourselves especially if you are chasing dreams or working hard for a personal goal.”
"JJ is such a talented young musician! I was inspired by his positive attitude. Loved the whole experience, and very grateful to have worked with him," says Annie from Love X Stereo.
Aside from this bilateral collaboration, Falling Feathers is also steadily building his fan base in Korea. His sophomore track, “Why So Serious,” was featured on Korea’s Youn's Kitchen on TV and the wildly popular program titled 슈퍼맨이 돌아왔다 (The Return of Superman) on cable channel KBS. Filled with riveting emotions coupled with Annie’s glistening vocals, “Dancing Alone” is a pop balled that showcases Falling Feathers multi-dimensional approach to songwriting.
The music video for “Dancing Alone” will see an exclusive 48-hour premiere on MTV Asia (available on StarHub TV on CH 533 and Singtel TV on CH 350 in Singapore) and www.mtvasia.com on February 28 at 12.30pm. After which, the video will be available on Falling Feathers’ official YouTube channel.
Says Falling Feathers of the music video premiere, "I can't wait to premiere 'Dancing Alone' on MTV! The channel has always been supportive of Asian artists with their playlists and various artist platforms, and I am so honored to be able to be part of the family!" “Dancing Alone” will be the third single before the release of Falling Feathers’ long awaited EP, Pipes Dreams, due for release later in the year. Apart from his previously released singles “Why So Serious” and “Hush”, the EP will also consist of two other brand new tracks.
