One Ok Rockers would know that Linkin Park has had a great influence on Taka and the boys all the way through their career. The group had only recently finished a concert tour of Europe while Linkin Park promoted their new album One More Light with Snoop Dog and they were expected to meet up again for a show on the 27 July in Massachusetts.
Taka recently took to Instagram to voice his feelings over front man Chester Beddington's suicide, posting a picture of Chester with his head on Taka's shoulder and the comment "You will always be here in my heart. Thank you for everything Chester." In another post he mentioned how influential he was for Taka and the boys and expressed his sorrow and best wishes to his family, friends and band mates.
The Asian Pop Radio crew are saddened to hear of the passing of Chester and wish to remind you that if you are experiencing depression or suicidal thoughts help is at hand. In Australia, you can call Lifeline on 13 11 14, resources are also available at youth mental health service Headspace.org.au and Qlife also has great support for the LGBTI community, their friends and supporters.
